We are a not-for-profit organisation providing professional learning, resources and community connection.

Musical Futures International acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, the Awabakal and Worimi peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise their enduring connection to Country.

Musical Futures International is the overall organisation leading the Musical Futures approach globally. We are a Not For Profit music education organisation registered in Australia (INC2400727) with an ABN of 43 368 493 847. Our funding comes directly from online resource subscriptions and our teacher professional learning events. If you'd like to support the work of Musical Futures International, please get in touch.

How We Think About Things

Bridging gaps by helping teachers to thrive

We aim to bridge these gaps by providing professional learning, resources and community events that focus on:

the process of music learning from the cultural/social context of the learner,
recognising the musical journey, not just the outcome,
valuing play, tinkering, creating, making, having the confidence to try and get it wrong,
understanding of various pathways to lifelong music-making in all contexts.
