We’ve built a range of tools to enhance student creativity in songwriting and music production.
AI-Powered Songwriting Coaches
The AI-powered Songwriting Coaches (Luna Whisper, Atlas Rise, Loop Mason, Neon Vega & Riff Taylor) are student-friendly AI tools that teachers can use as part of their teaching about the songwriting and production processes of well-known artists, in a safe, educational setting. Each ‘coach’ (a.k.a. chatbot) takes on an artist’s voice and style to share insights about inspiration, workflow, collaboration, and sound design, while guiding students through practical, creative challenges such as writing short lyrics, experimenting with loops, or trying new production techniques. Teachers can use the chatbots to spark discussion, scaffold informal learning, and provide alternative role-modelling perspectives, while students gain an engaging, interactive way to connect classroom music-making with the methods of contemporary musicians.

“Sounds Like This” Production Guide Generator
The Sounds Like This Production Guide Generator is an interactive tool that helps students explore how their favourite songs are made by breaking down the production process into simple, step-by-step instructions. Students type in a song or artist, choose their DAW (BandLab, Soundtrap, GarageBand OS, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live), and the tool generates a customised guide covering instruments, sound design, chord structure, effects, and mixing techniques — all using stock plugins so the process is accessible in any school setting. The tool also provides reference links to Spotify.

Exploring Electronic Music Course
The Explore Electronic Music course is a six-lesson, chatbot-led learning journey that introduces students to the foundations of electronic music through explanation, reflection, and hands-on practice. Each lesson combines a short, student-friendly explanation with Socratic questioning, a curated clean YouTube example, and a free browser-based interactive tool, ensuring that learning is both practical and engaging. The course covers the essentials — from what electronic music is, through its history and genres, to waveforms, DAWs, MIDI, and synthesis — and requires students to give thoughtful answers before progressing, encouraging genuine understanding rather than passive completion.
