Are you ready for a Musical Futures challenge?

A little fun for your final lessons of 2024

So, we've just released our new playalong, 'Birds Of A Feather' and one of our legendary teachers Jon Clark, who works at Monrad Intermediate, Te Kura Waenga o Tirohanga, in Aotearoa/New Zealand, suggested a cool idea! He commented on a recent post and said, "Since it's December, I hope you also sang Last Christmas to this jam!"

It got us thinking ... maybe we can get lots of our MFI schools trying a challenge over the next week or so?

Here's the challenge:

1) With your class/es, try the Birds Of A Feather playalong below for free. Jam along until you get comfortable with the song.

2) When you're ready, change the lyrics of the chorus to Last Christmas (lyrics here).

3) Work out an arrangement, medley, two-part thing, record your class singing/playing it and (if you have permission) send us a recording of what you create! Email to: info@musicalfuturesinternational.org
