For subscribers using the Musical Futures International platform, finding the right resources for your class is pretty easy! It just depends on what 'right' means for you. To help you, we've devised the following scenarios:

Scenario #1: I know exactly what resource I want, but I just want to locate it quickly

Let's say you want to find the Playalong called 'As It Was'.

The best way to do this is to head to 'My Resources', and use the Search By Lesson filter at the top. Type in a portion of the song you're looking for i.e. "As It..." and the song will appear if you have access to it. Here's a video showing you that process:

Scenario #2: I know the instrument I want to teach, but I don't know which resource to use

Let's say you want to teach whole class ukulele

Head to 'My Resources' and you have two options:

1) Use the Search By Lesson filter and type in Ukulele:

2) Scroll down to the Search By Course area and look for Everyone Can Play Ukulele or type Ukulele into the search area. You can also filter your resources using the dropdown menu to just show the Everyone Can Play units. The video below shows how you can do that:

Scenario #3: I know what objective/outcome I need to meet from my curriculum, but I'm not sure which Musical Futures resources will fit

This is the perfect time to use our Musical Futures Curriculum Mapping Tool.

To access this, go to 'My Resources' and you'll see the Curriculum Mapping Tool button at the top.

Then, choose your curriculum, choose your unit and specific resource, and the tool will automatically show you how it links to your chosen curriculum. The video below shows this process:
