Back in 2018, we teamed up with Trinity College London to explore how their Rock & Pop syllabus could work in real classrooms alongside Musical Futures approaches.
Teachers told us the combination was powerful.
It supported inclusion, gave students more ways into music making, and added fresh tools for assessment and progression. Most importantly, it kept the focus where it belongs: engaged kids making music together.
We’re excited to share that Trinity are now our Gold Sponsors. This partnership is built on shared values – student-centred, inclusive, and practical music learning – and it means even more opportunities and resources for you and your students.
To help make this happen, we’re also welcoming Rebecca McPhail as our new Project Co-ordinator. Rebecca will be working closely with teachers, supporting events, and helping us deliver projects that bring these ideas to life in schools.
This is about community. With Trinity’s support and Rebecca on board, we are better placed than ever to keep growing the Musical Futures approach and creating resources and experiences that make student-led music learning thrive alongside the many other approaches that exist out there in the world of Music Education.
By joining forces with Trinity, a global leader in inclusive and creativity-focused music education, we’re combining the Musical Futures approach with Trinity’s Rock & Pop and classical pathways to give your students even more ways to build confidence, explore music deeply, and enjoy their learning.
