Most Musical Futures practitioners work through Levels 1 to 3 at our professional learning events. That is still the best way to understand informal learning: hands-on, jamming, sequencing and experimenting alongside other music teachers.
Where online coaching comes in
Coaching is the alternative if you cannot get to an event, and a good place to start for you or your team. Use it to begin your Musical Futures journey, or to go deep on something specific to your context: AI, music technology, classroom workshopping, pedagogy. Our coaches are expert facilitators, and they put you at the centre of your own coaching.

Our team are all trained school music teachers with experience working in schools all over the world. We are all Level 3 Certified Musical Futures practitioners and have experience in loads of different music teaching areas.

FAQs
Our coaches are here for YOU. Through expert questioning and discussion-based scenarios, our team members will support your growth where you want it most. Sessions are conducted online via Zoom and will involve a range of prompts designed to get you reflecting, evaluating, critiquing and planning. You’ll come away equal parts challenged and inspired from each session.
Either, and it costs the same. The price is per session, not per person, so you can come on your own or put your whole department on the call. Plenty of schools book a pack and use it as department professional learning across the year. Just tell us who will be joining on your registration form so your coach can plan for it.
You pay when you book, straight from this page. Card payments go through on the spot. If your school needs an invoice, choose bank transfer at checkout and Musical Futures International Inc. will email you one that finance can pay from anywhere in the world. Your sessions are confirmed once payment clears and we have your registration form.
We email you a short registration form. It asks where you teach and what you want to work on, and it is what we use to match you with the right coach. Fill it in and we will introduce your coach and get your first session in the diary. Your sessions are not locked in until that form is back with us.
The short answer is YES! Please add this as a note in your booking form. Fees for longer sessions are arranged pro-rata.
Nope! Coaching is open to anyone interested in upskilling in the Musical Futures approach. If you’d like to do your Level 1, check out your options here.
Please note that once payment is settled, we do not provide refunds for our coaching sessions. If you have adverse circumstances and can no longer complete your booked coaching session/s, please contact our team at info@musicalfuturesinternational.org.
