Questions
The things people ask before signing up
Do I really not need a credit card?
Correct. There is no card field at checkout, because there is nothing to charge. You are not entering a payment method that we hold on to and bill later.
That also means there is nothing to cancel. If you decide the platform is not for you, do nothing at all and it ends.
What happens on day 30?
Your access ends. We will email you before that happens so it is not a surprise, and if you want to keep going you choose a plan then.
Anything you made in our tools stays yours. Anything you downloaded is yours to keep.
Is it the real Full Access, or a cut-down version?
The real one. The trial grants exactly the same access as the $499 Full Access plan, with no units held back and no features disabled. Same five teacher licences, same unlimited student sharing.
Will it fit our curriculum?
You can check before you sign up. The curriculum mapping tool lines our units up against the outcomes you have to teach, so you can see where they land in your programme rather than taking our word for it.
It is also a fair thing to hand to whoever signs the purchase order at the end of the month.
Can my colleagues use it too?
Yes. The trial includes five teacher licences, so you and four colleagues can each have your own login. That is deliberate: a month is not long enough to judge a platform on your own, and the decision to buy is usually a department decision.
Do my students need accounts?
No, and they never will. Lesson pages are shared by link, so a student clicks and it opens. No logins to create, no seats to buy, no passwords to reset in week one.
What if I want to keep it?
Pick whichever plan fits. Full Access is $499, or the focused packs are $299, or Starter is $145. All prices are AUD + GST per year and all of them include five teacher licences.
I'm coming to a workshop day. Should I still do this?
Probably not yet. Attending a Musical Futures professional learning event includes the Starter Pack, so starting a trial now means spending your free month on something you are about to be given anyway.
Is it safe to use with students?
The platform has been assessed under the Safer Technologies 4 Schools product badge program, which is the assessment most Australian education departments look for. Students access lesson content without accounts, so there is no student data to hold.
