FREE Ukulele Chord Spots: simple resource...loads of ideas!
As music educators, we're always on the lookout for innovative tools to engage our students and make learning more interactive. That's why we're excited to introduce our free, printable Ukulele Chord Spots – it's nothing super fancy, just a simple yet powerful little resource that we heard about from our buddy Chris McLeay over at Discovery College, Hong Kong. There are loads of ways you can use these and we've got a few ideas for you below. Why have we made these circles/spots, you ask? No major reason I guess. They just look cool! 
What are Ukulele Chord Spots?
Ukulele Chord Spots are circular visual aids designed to make teaching chord progressions a breeze. Each spot features:
• A large letter indicating the chord name
• A clear fretboard diagram showing finger placement
• An eye-catching teal dotted border - super important 
These spots are designed to be printed, laminated, cut out, and stuck on whiteboards with blu tack or magnets, making them incredibly versatile and reusable. They can also be given to students to use on any surface (desk, floor, chair) to be used during creative projects.
Putting Chord Spots into Action
Imagine this scenario in your classroom:
You've just finished jamming through "Three Little Birds" with your students. The energy in the room is rather buzzy. You stick the C, G, and F chord spots on the board, and your students nod along, recognising the progression they've just played.
Then, with a mischievous grin, you rearrange the spots: F, C, G. Jaws drop. Eyes widen. "Whoa, it sounds totally different!" exclaims one student. And just like that, you've unlocked a new level of musical understanding.
By simply moving these colourful circles around, you've made chord progressions come alive. Students start seeing the relationships between chords and their creative possibilities in a whole new way.
