Our new subscription packs are here.
Let's talk about what's in them.
Why we built them
Musical Futures International has been growing. Our full access subscription covers a lot of ground, and that is deliberate. But we kept hearing from teachers who wanted to start with one focus, either getting bands off the ground or bringing music technology into their classroom, before committing to the whole library. The Band Skills Pack and the Music Tech Pack are our answer to that. Two focused entry points into what we do, built for teachers who know where they want to start.
Band Skills Pack

The Band Skills Pack is built around informal learning. The idea is that students learn music best by doing it, the way musicians learning informally outside school always have. The units move students from whole class instrumental skills building through whole class playing and into small group band work, gradually removing scaffolding at each stage while keeping the informal learning principles at the heart of everything. With resources for songwriting, grooves and beats resources to explore along the way, the goal is to be working independently with the confidence and musical experience to make creative decisions. This is not students following explicit instructions until the bell goes. It is students becoming musicians with the agency to follow their own pathways to independence.
Music Tech Pack

The Music Tech Pack includes resources for Recreate, Remix, Movie Music and Video Game Music as well as additional resources like Learn the DAW and more. Every unit starts with students making something, not watching someone else do it. The units also work across any DAW your school already uses, and none of them rely on drag and drop or compose-by-numbers approaches. Creativity is the starting point, not the reward for finishing the tutorial.
The Movie Music and Game Music composition units go a step further with a custom built DAW that opens directly in the browser with the source material already loaded. No setup, no file sharing, no allocating student seats, no waiting. Copyright approved video material is pre-loaded into the DAW ready for students to get creative immediately, or you can add your own videos.
What you get with all of our resources
- New content is added to the library regularly, so your subscription grows in value the longer you hold it.
- Every resource is shareable by a custom link - no student logins, no IT requests, no chasing permissions.
- Up to five teachers from the same school can access the subscription, making it genuinely useful at a department level rather than just for the teacher who bought it.
- The curriculum planning tool helps you map resources to your existing programme without starting from scratch.
- And if you have a question, the Musical Futures International team is available to help. This is not a helpdesk form, not a bot, actual people who know and have used the resources with classes of all ages.
