Share Lesson Links Directly With Your Students

A simpler, more reliable way to send lesson content straight to your class — no student accounts required.

Lesson pages on the platform have always been open to anyone with the URL, and until now the only thing keeping old, lapsed links from working forever was periodically rotating the addresses behind the scenes. It worked, but it meant links you'd already shared with a class could quietly stop working without warning.

We've replaced that with something better: Share Links. Every lesson you have access to now has its own "Copy Share Link" button, producing a link tied to your account that keeps working for as long as your subscription is active — reliable, predictable, and yours to reuse as many times as you need.

How it works

1. Open any lesson you have access to

Log in as usual and navigate to the lesson you want to share.

2. Click "Copy Share Link"

You'll find the button in the bottom-right corner of the lesson page. One click copies a ready-to-use link straight to your clipboard.

3. Paste it wherever your students will see it

Google Classroom, an LMS announcement, an email, a shared document — anywhere works. Students click through and land directly on the lesson, no account or login required on their end.

What's changing on August 1st

From August 1st, if you wish to share a resource with your students you must be logged in to an active subscription, generate a link and share it with them. If you've previously shared plain lesson URLs anywhere, please switch them over to Share Links before then.

Everything else about your subscription and how you use the platform stays exactly the same — this only changes how lesson content gets shared outward, replacing the old open-link model with something built for the way you actually teach.

Common questions

Does the link ever expire?

Not on a timer. A Share Link keeps working for as long as your own subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, all of your Share Links stop working automatically — nothing for you to manage.

Can I reuse the same link, or do I need a new one each time?

The same link works for every student, as many times as needed. You only need to copy it once per lesson.

Can I share a whole module or course, not just one lesson?

Yes, login and go to a module or course and you'll see a share link option as well. If you need any help sharing a link covering a whole module or course, contact us and we'll set one up for you.

Can I disable a link I've already shared?

Not yet self-service — if you need a previously shared link disabled (for example, if it was shared more widely than intended), contact us and we'll take care of it.

Do students need to create an account?

No. Anyone with the link can view that lesson directly — no MFI account, login, or payment needed on their end.

What if a student loses the link?

Just copy it again from the same lesson page. It's always the same link for you and that lesson, so there's nothing to regenerate.

Ready to try it? Log in and open any lesson — look for the Copy Share Link button in the bottom-right corner.
